Here’s an update from Jim & Pat Patterson concerning their great-grandson, Lincoln…
Ron,
Update on Lincoln. Surgery took 9 hours, but he did really well. The surgeon was able to remove most of the tumor with the exception of a small portion that was in the brain stem. It has all the characteristics of a low-grade cancer which has been sent off to pathology. Will be a week before we get that back. He will have hearing loss on one side and his eyesight will be affected too. He may require more surgeries and will have to have an MRI every year for the rest of his life. All we can do now is take one day at a time. Thank you for your prayers, Jim and I have felt them. Our prayer now is that the pathology report will come back negative and that the family somehow through all of this will reach out to God.
