Ron,
I am friends with a woman who has a 13 yr. old granddaughter that is living with a stepdad and his girlfriend. Emily is being abused by both of them. She has reached out for help from a policeman at her school and was taken to children’s mercy on a suicide watch but then released back home.
Her grandmother has spent every penny she has on a lawyer to get custody of Emily.
Ron, as I am writing this, tears are flowing. I know people are hesitant in interfering in this kind of thing, but surly we can pray for a child that has no control of her situation.
