Dear Prayer Partners,
What a week it has been! I am so very thankful for God’s amazing grace to give strength and joy even in the midst of life’s aggravations and frustrations. And I am so thankful for your faithful prayers – I need them always!
First off, my car developed an oil leak and the dealership said it would not be covered by warranty… so instead of throwing a fit, I chose just to fix it myself and go on.
Next, my computer didn’t just crash, it died… that’s why you didn’t get any updates, or video messages this past week. But I got a new laptop and as soon as I figure out all the new software and programs, I’ll get back on track.
Then on Tuesday afternoon Cheryl was having sinus congestion and said it felt like allergies. Wednesday morning a little worse but fairly mild. Because we had been to the hospital several times to visit folks, we thought we better test. I got some COVID home test kits and about noon Wednesday Cheryl tested positive. We tested her again today and she tested positive again. She has sinus congestion and some coughing today, but no fever and no other symptoms. I don’t have any symptoms at all. We have both had vaccinations and booster. So, we are staying in and away from people.
We all have “those weeks” from time to time. But I choose to give thanks in all things because I know all things work together for good to those who love God.
