It was a great morning at Living Stones Church this morning. 6 people prayed to receive Jesus and several folks at the altar praying! Also a great time of praise and worship. Thanks Pastor Dan for the opportunity to share with your church!

Ron,
Our Laclede Baptist Association’s DOM, Steven Strause, has spent four years fighting cancer. He has fought hard with a solid faith. Today he seems to be fading rather rapidly. While I have been typing this my pastor just sent a text that he has passed.
He is single, has two sisters and a host of people in the Association who have been with him and helped.

I would like for you & the Prayer Partners to pray for us. I am in a wheelchair & can’t walk without falling, but I must tell you that God has blessed me & my wife to the fullest. I am 74, my wife is 71, and we live in a retirement home in St Charles, Mo. Please pray that we will be able to witness to more of the people here at Lake Charles Center.

Dear Ron & Cheryl:
Martha is still at Sunterrra Springs Care Center and is to have surgery at Centerpoint on Feb. 23rd. We are praying it could be done earlier than that, but we know God’s timing is always perfect. Please keep her and the Doctors and nurses in your prayers.

I need to share the following prayer request without mentioning any names, but this family really needs our prayers…
I know a couple in their 70’s, been married for a long time, the wife began showing signs of dementia, she decided she no longer wanted to be married, packed a bag and left. I really don’t know much more about the situation.
Please pray she is safe and gets the help she needs. Please pray for the husband, he is stressed beyond explanation.

Jim Blankenship was not released from the hospital yesterday; they admitted him so they could continue to monitor his condition. However, it was about 11:30 last night before they got him into a room.
Please continue praying for Jim and family that once UTI is healed nothing else shows up.
Last Sunday at Cross Creek was a tremendous blessing. One young man came to the altar for counsel/prayer.
This coming Sunday I’ll be at Living Stones Community Church in Blue Springs – thanks in advance for your prayers.

Paula Blankship asked that we pray for her husband Jim. He has had a lot of health issues recently – gall bladder surgeries, dental issues, and a stroke.
Yesterday he began feeling ill and was admitted to the ER. After several tests they determined he has a UT infection. He’s doing much better this morning and should be released later today.

New update on Larry McCarty – After seeing the doctor, Xray looked great. He still has small leak in the lung, so tube still needed. He was able to get in and out of car without issues. He continues to get stronger each day. Larry is a trooper and is working at building his strength. Keep praying for our brother for total healing.
Dear Prayer Partners,
Bud Gast asked to add his friend, Charlie Mason to the prayer list. Charlie is scheduled to have open heart surgery on February 16th, at KU Med Center. Also pray for Charlie’s wife, Laurie.
Also, Bud said his eye is doing much better… vision still a little blurry but doing better.
Larry McCarty had a bit of a set-back. His chest tube was anchored by sutures and broke open. Their hope is the tube can be removed unless the gap remains. If so, they will need to suture it again to the hold tube. Larry’s breathing has been more labored which is also a concern.
On a positive note… the other day he was able to get out of chair by himself. He was able to push with his arms and standing up without assistance! A true praise!
Continue to lift Larry up to the Lord for complete healing. The family asked to thank everyone for their prayers.

Larry McCarty is doing much better. The infection in his lung has finally healed! He is slowly regaining strength – able to sit in a chair, walk a short distance, and move about on his own. Please continue to pray for complete healing.
Bud Gast had a post-op checkup and the doctor said his eye is doing really well.
