PRAYER REQUEST

Dear Prayer Partners,
Please pray for some friends of ours, Jay & Kay Scribner. Jay was the pastor at First Baptist in Branson for several years and has been a faithful servant of our Lord.
A couple of days ago Jay had a heart attack and was taken to a hospital in Springfield with the intent of doing at least a triple by-pass on Monday. This afternoon he apparently had another attack and is now in ICU. Please pray for a miraculous intervention from our Lord.
God bless and thanks for your faithful prayers.

UPDATE

Dear Prayer Partners,
Thank you for continuing to pray for Micah Veanes and his family. Your prayers are making a difference. Here are the requests for today from Dave…
They are going to take Micah off dialysis at 2:00 this afternoon . His kidney function has improved and the numbers look good. Please pray that his kidneys will function well and he would not have to go back on dialysis. That would be a wonderful blessing!
Also, pray that his appetite would improve. Micah is on a normal diet now, but he is not wanting to eat or drink much of anything. He has lost about 20 pounds. He needs to start eating again.

UPDATE

Dear Prayer Partners,
Marcella Dixon’s memorial service went well this afternoon. People observed the social distancing suggestions and yet we were still able to encourage Marcella’s family and friends.
At the end of the service I gave a simple explanation of salvation and one person prayed and asked Jesus to be their Savior. After we dismissed the people one man stayed behind and asked if he could talk to be “about what it really means to be saved.”
Thanks so much for your prayers, God Bless.

UPDATE

Dear Prayer Partners,
Here’s the latest on Micah Veanes…

Micah will be having surgery Friday to close up his calves. Yesterday they checked his foot where his toes were removed and they continue to monitor his arm. Things continue to look promising in those areas.
The next step will be skin grafting on his back, chest, and shoulders.
Please pray for continued healing where amputation has been performed, for the skin grafting surgeries, and for the on-going dialysis. Pray for Micah’s appetite. He ate a 1/2 cup of yogurt yesterday. And for Micah to be strong and tolerate the pain.

Ron,
Adrain’ cousin Les Lemen passed away last night from cancer. We talked to his wife and she doing ok and knows he is now with Jesus. Appreciate prayers for the family as the void of not having him there is at times difficult.
Visitation will be Monday from 5-7 at Meyers in Blue Springs. The funeral will be immediate family only. Appreciate you sharing with your prayer list.

UPDATE & PRAYER REQUEST

Dear Prayer Partners,
Great news from Missionary David Daniel…
Brother Ron and Prayer Partners,
I arrived home this afternoon thanks to many of you praying. The huge plane that flew me into Chicago from Seoul had only 100 passengers. It allowed me and many others to lay across three seats getting some much needed sleep. It’s so good to be home I can’t wait to mow the yard as crazy as that sounds. I will self quarantine 14 days to make sure I’m AOK. Thanks again folks for your prayers there were many salvations on this trip. To God be the glory. Thank you Jesus. David

Please pray for the family of Marcela Dixon, She was recently admitted to the hospital for numerous issues, the most pressing was cancer. This morning she met her Savior face to face. Pray for her family as they make arrangements and plans for funeral and memorial services.

Several of you have asked… Cheryl and I are doing well and enjoying our time at home. I haven’t preached in a church since the first part of March, but I have been preaching a lot with my hands and feet! I have tried to help people by working on cars, lawn mowers, sink drains, electrical issues, and Cheryl and I have helped get groceries to several families almost weekly.
We put a big sign on the front of our house letting our neighborhood know that we are praying for them… that has led to several conversations with neighbors about the Lord.
So, while my travel schedule has been placed on hold, I’m still busy telling people about Jesus.

Dear Prayer Partners,

Here’s the latest from Missionary David Daniel…

Brother Ron and prayer partners,
My Mother passed yesterday May 20 at 1:15am. We are so thankful it was a smooth passing without pain and suffering. I am completely at peace with no sadness as mom has made it to the promise land. With so much understanding about our Lord and Savior. I find so much joy and happiness knowing Mom is with Jesus and Dad.

I have secured flights to get home leaving May 26th  and should arrive May 27th.
Thanks to everyone of you who have been praying, the prayers were answered. Thank you, David
