UPDATE

Dear Prayer Partners,

It’s been a great week at Glendale Baptist and we still have tonight to go. They haven’t had a revival in several years and both Monday and Tuesday night the attendance has been tremendous.

There have been a lot of tears and decisions already, but I feel the church is just on the edge of seeing God do something magnificent. Please pray that tonight won’t be just another worship service, but a real revival.

God bless and thank you for your prayers!

UPDATE

Dear Prayer Partners,

Here’s an update from Faneta Craig concerning her daughter Martha…

Dear Ron:
Please keep Martha in you prayers again. She received a call from her Doctor, yesterday, saying he has her set up for surgery again
on Monday afternoon. We are trying to prepare hurriedly again for that. We thought it would be a couple of weeks! He will be placing
a back simulator in her back to help with her severe pain. She will be coming here at my home after that as she recovers. Please keep
us in your prayers.
Thank You & God Bless
Faneta

UPDATE

Dear Prayer Partners,

The conference ended on a high note tonight. Great time of praise and worship and encouraging the Saints. I pray the effect of this conference will live on in the hearts and lives of the Pastors and churches in Pulaski County for some time to come.

Elections returns are in and Rhonda Gilstrap received 45% of the vote over her two opponents. She won and said thank you for your prayers!

God Bless

PRAYER REQUEST & UPDATE

Dear Prayer Partners,

I hope you have had an uneventful April fool’s Day… No one even mentioned it to me nor tried to play any tricks.

Please remember tomorrow, April 2nd is Election Day. A dear friend of ours, Rhonda Gilstrap, is running for reelection to the Blue Springs School Board. We need believers involved in decisions concerning our children. If you live in the Blue Springs School District give her your vote.

Please add Ruth & Richard Rice to your prayer list. Ruth had brain surgery today to remove a tumor and things didn’t go very well. They were not able to remove the entire tumor. Ruth is the sister of Jim Evans, a friend from my home church.

The Pulaski Baptist Association Evangelism Conference has been going well. The church I preached at Sunday morning had great attendance and several at the altar at the close of the service. Sunday night was a blessing as well. I was at a small country church (22 in attendance) and it was a joy to encourage them and worship with them.

Today was a great time of ministering to pastors and staff members. Lots of great singing and worship and inspiring messages, I preached tonight and am scheduled to speak again tomorrow morning and then preside of the meeting tomorrow evening.

PRAYER REQUEST

Dear Prayer Partners,

I’ll be leaving Saturday morning for the Pulaski Baptist Association Evangelism Conference. It begins Saturday evening at FBC, St. Robert, MO. Then I’ll be at Faith Baptist in Waynesville, MO Sunday morning and at New Salem Baptist in Dixon, MO Sunday night. I am preaching at the conference on Monday evening and again Tuesday morning.

I am always excited about association evangelism conferences because of the potential for revival and renewal to sweep through an entire county. Please pray for the pastors, staff members, and churches through out Pulaski County.

God Bless!

UPDATE

Dear Prayer Partners,

For the past 2 years we have been praying for a little boy named Kingston Gilbert, who was brutally beaten by his daycare provider. The court found the daycare provider guilty and her sentence was handed down today. The following is a press release from Fox4News…

An Olathe home daycare provider will spend the next 7 years behind bars after she beat a child so badly that he suffered brain damage, a Johnson County judge ruled Thursday. Paige Hatfield was sentenced to 86 months in jail, the maximum allowed by law. She was convicted of aggravated battery for beating 4-month-old Kingston Gilbert in 2017.
In determining a sentence, Judge Brenda M. Cameron cited the seriousness of the crime on a vulnerable victim. “I am beyond words to express how sorry I am to Kingston and his family for their loss, and it is a tremendous loss,” she told the family during sentencing. She also said that Kingston was a “happy, healthy smiling baby” before the assault. “The child you had before you met Paige Hatfield is not the same child you have now,” she told Kingston’s parents.
When Hatfield is released from prison, she will be on probation for 36 months.

Now that the trial is over please pray that Kingston’s family can move forward and begin to heal. Also pray that Paige Hatfield might find Jesus as her Savior.

Family members expressed their thanks and appreciation for your prayers.
