UPDATE & PRAYER REQUEST

Dear Prayer Partners,

A friend called me today and requested prayer for her dad because he fell and broke his hip. When he got to the hospital the doctor took x-rays and noticed some type of a mass. They transferred him from southern Missouri to Barnes hospital in St. Louis for biopsies to determine if it’s cancer. They have postponed fixing the hip until they have a clear picture of what is involved. She asked to remain anonymous in order to respect her dad’s privacy but said to thank you all for your prayers.

Pam Catrow is doing better and went today for another chemo treatment. I got to visit with her and she said the treatments really take a toll for a few days and she has several more to endure. She thanked everyone for their prayers.

UPDATE

Dear Prayer Partners,

Oh how I wish each and every one of you could have been at church tonight. It was truly an indescribable encounter with Jesus.
The words of a song keep running through my heart as I’m reflecting on another overflowing altar. It’s a song by a group named Selah and it’s titled, Wonderful, Merciful Savior.

Wonderful, merciful, savior,
Precious redeemer and friend,
Who would have thought that a lamb could
Rescue the souls of man,
Oh, you rescue the souls of man.

Counselor, comforter, keeper,
Spirit we long to embrace,
You offer hope when our hearts have
Hopelessly lost our way,
Oh we’ve hopelessly lost the way.

You are the one that we praise,
You are the one we adore.
You give the healing and grace our
Hearts always hunger for
Oh, our hearts always hunger for.

Wednesday night will be Youth Night and we are expecting a good number of teenagers to be there. Please pray that Jesus will open their hearts that many will give their lives to Him.
God bless my
friends!

UPDATE

Dear Prayer Partners,

God showed up tonight!!! It was such a blessing to see great attendance tonight and when the invitation was given the altar was full! And not just the altar, but folks were kneeling in the front pews, in the isles, and even some on the stairs leading up to the platform. People weeping because of sin and apathy. People crying out to God and asking Him to take total control of their lives.
I can hardly wait to see what might happen tomorrow night! Thanks for your prayers and keep it up!

UPDATE

Dear Prayer Partners,

We had tremendous beginning of revival services at Faith Baptist in Waynesville, MO today. The service began with the observance of baptism, great time of worship and praise, and 7 prayed to receive Jesus! When the pastor began introducing new believers to the congregation, one man began weeping and apologized to his family for past sins and asked for their forgiveness. What a service!
Then tonight attendance was great and at invitation the altar was full with lots of tears!
Thanks for your prayers! The services are scheduled through Wednesday night, so please keep praying!

UPDATE

Dear Prayer Partners,

Remember the man named Jim we have been praying for? He was on his way to Mayo Clinic for some very serious tests. Here’s an update from his sister…

Hi Brother Ron,
I have been meaning to let you know, my brother is okay. All the doctors at the MAYO clinic could tell was it was a tear they were seeing and NO cancer. He and my sister-in-law are home and he is doing well.
I want to thank everyone for their concerns and prayers. The more God’s people pray, He Does hear and responds!
I am still looking for a job. I know there is one out there for me. Just waiting on God’s timing!
Sincerely, Rozan

It was a glorious day at FBC, Moberly! No professions of faith today, but several decisions, several at the altar, and lots of tears. It was a tremendous time of worship, praise and renewal of God’s people. And I am so grateful that Cheryl got to be a part of it.
Thank you for your prayers.

UPDATE

Dear Prayer Partners,

It was a fantastic week at New Liberty and ended on a high note. Thanks to Pastor Bob Gross for giving me the opportunity to share with his folks.

I’m really looking forward to being at FBC, Moberly Saturday and Sunday. Cheryl gets to go with me this weekend and that doesn’t happen very often.

God bless!

UPDATE

Dear Prayer Partners,

Here’s an update on Aspen from Joyce Newby…

Ron,
Aspen will have a procedure done on Oct 15th that will take 16 hours. We need the power of healing prayer for her. I am so thankful for each person who is praying for success in this treatment as it is her last hope.
The good news is she got to go to homecoming. She wore a blue shimmering dress and she had a good time. Thanks again for standing with Aspen in prayers.
