PRAYER REQUEST

Dear Prayer Partners,

Please add Monty Collins to your prayer list. He was taken to the hospital last night with severe chest pains. He has three major blockages and will require by-pass surgery. He also has the complication of diabetes. He is in ICU and as soon as I hear about a surgery time I will let you know.

LaVona Perkins was admitted to the hospital last night also. Her heart was in A-fib. She is doing much better today and back in normal rhythm.

God bless and thank you for praying.

UPDATE ON KINGSTON

Dear Prayer Partners,

Here’s an update on Kingston as reported on Fox4 news…

“A home daycare owner was found guilty in a Johnson County courtroom Friday for severely injuring a 4-and-a-half month old boy in her care and running an unlicensed daycare.
Paige Hatfield was found guilty on charges of aggravated battery causing great bodily harm, a felony, and operating an unlicensed daycare, a misdemeanor. Kingston Gilbert had been in Hatfield’s care for just 11 days in 2017 when he was severely beaten, leaving him blind and suffering from brain damage.
On January 31, 2017, Hatfield called 9-1-1 because Kingston was throwing up. According to court documents, doctors at Children’s Mercy Hospital said Kingston was “suffering from abusive head trauma,” which is, “only caused by violent non-accidental physical trauma.” They said Kingston’s injuries resulted from, “extreme violence.”
Prosecutors are asking for an enhanced sentence because Hatfield was a child care provider, that’s being debated on Friday night. Sentencing will be in March.”

PRAYER REQUEST

Dear Prayer Partners,

We have a good friend (who asked to remain anonymous) dealing with what she believes to be a heart problem. She has been to the doctor several times and they can’t seem to identify the problem. Her heart beats very erratic at times and then returns to normal, however today is has been more irregular than normal. Next step is to wear a heart monitor, but she is concerned that something serious might happen before they figure it out – thus adding to her stress and anxiety which causes her heart to be erratic.
Please pray for peace, strength, and healing for her and wisdom for her doctors.

Thank you so much for the time you sacrifice to carry all these concerns to the Father.

UPDATE

Dear Prayer Partners,

For several years now we have been praying for a pastor friend of mine whose son has battling drug addiction. For obvious reasons I’ve kept his name and location confidential. This morning I received the following update…

Bro. Ron,
The last time we talked I was telling you that my son had been arrested and sentenced to drug court. He is doing very well and a completely different person. He has stayed drug free, making it to all his meetings, and passing his drug tests. Praise the Lord.
Last night after one of his court mandated meetings, he brought a friend home with him. His friend is also required to attend the same meeting as he is in drug court too. As I was talking with him I asked him if he had ever asked Jesus into his heart. He told me, “No but I want to and I’ve been wanting to for a long time, but I don’t know how to.” I said, “How about we do that right now?” He, myself, my wife, and my son all sat down at the table, I opened my Bible, and started at Romans 3:23. I asked him to read it and then asked him what that verse meant to him. He said, “I’m a sinner.” We went on until I got to Revelation 3:20. At that point I asked him to pray out loud and ask Jesus into his heart. He started confessing and repenting of things in the past and asked Jesus into his heart. You should have heard that boy praying! Then I prayed a prayer of thanks and then my son prayed a prayer of thanks. God is so good.
Please tell all who have prayed for us a huge “Thank you!”

UPDATE

Dear Prayer Partners,

I just heard from Joyce Newby a few minutes ago and the jury is now deliberating. This morning they were allowed to hear a special plea on behalf of the babysitter. I don’t know if they will reach a verdict this afternoon or not. As soon as I hear I will be sure and let you know.
Thank you for your sacrifice of prayer. God bless.

PRAYER REQUEST

Dear Prayer Partners,
This request is from our missionary friend from Cape Girardeau, MO, David Daniel…

Dear Ron,
Please pray for my long time friend, Tam. He professes to know Jesus as his Savior, but recently relocated to Texas and has yet to connect with a local church.
Two of his three sons have very serious health problems, especially his son Taylor. Taylor has graduated from college and living at home, but is severely depressed. He mentioned that if his life doesn’t get better he wants to die. To compound the concern, Taylor doesn’t know Jesus as his Savior.
My friend Tam has a lot on his shoulders. Please pray that all three sons get saved and that they find a church home soon.
David Daniel
